How to use oddjobs.imas a recruitment agency

What this control panel is for

Your agency control panel on oddjobs.im is the recruitment workspace for the Careers door. Careers is open to partner agencies - not an exclusive seat for one firm. Candidates browse vacancies publicly; apply clicks open your vacancy pages and are logged as referrals. You manage vacancies, categories, scraper/feed, analytics, Settings, and Billing.

Public Careers pages stay candidate-facing - your agency branding lives here in the dashboard. Apply traffic continues on your own site. Register as Agency to get your own partner workspace.

1. Sign in

1. Open Login and choose the Agency option.
2. Enter your agency email and password.
3. You land on the control panel.

New accounts: register as Agency, verify your email if prompted, then sign in.

2. Overview (home)

At a glance metrics from Careers traffic:

• Active roles - live vacancies on Careers
• Listing browses - Careers page opens
• Card views - job card impressions
• Apply clicks - View & apply referrals
• Card → apply CTR - clicks ÷ card views
• Unique browsers

Also: referral trend, latest referrals, vacancy mix, top vacancies by clicks, and shortcuts into the main tools.

3. Scraper & feed

Open Scraper & feed (Agency plan and above) to control how vacancies enter your board.

• Scraper enabled - when off, Sync now and scheduled pulls are blocked.
• Show on public Careers door - master switch for your listings on oddjobs.im.
• Hide all jobs - remove everything from Careers temporarily; show again when ready.
• Auto-sync frequency - Manual, hourly, or less frequent schedules.
• Max pages / feed URL - how deep each pull goes; optional custom feed URL.
• Sync now - run a pull immediately.
• Sync history - recent runs with status and import counts.

After a successful pull, check Vacancies for live/off roles and click stats.

4. Categories

Under Categories you see each category’s live and total role counts.

• Hide from Careers - that category is no longer public; jobs stay in your dashboard.
• Show on Careers - make it public again.

Useful for seasonal focus or packaging which roles are live.

5. Vacancies

1. Browse roles: title, category, location, views / clicks / CTR, Live/Off.
2. Edit - title, category, location, contract, salary text, summary, external URL, live toggle.
3. Hide / Show - turn a single role off Careers without deleting it.
4. Add role - create a vacancy manually when needed.

Apply clicks open your vacancy URL with oddjobs.im attribution, plus your optional referrer ID from Settings.

6. Analytics

Open Analytics and pick 7 / 30 / 90 / 365 days.

• Listing browses - Careers page opens
• Card views - job card impressions
• Apply clicks - View & apply
• Card → apply CTR - clicks ÷ card views
• Charts: traffic trend, category mix, browses → apply funnel

oddjobs.im measures Careers traffic only - not interviews or placements on your own systems.

Referrals lists recent apply clicks. Share Careers, refine categories, re-pull stock, then watch CTR and top roles.

7. Billing

Open Billing for monthly membership via PayPal. Plans: Essential £49.99/mo · Agency £99.99/mo · Agency Pro £149.99/mo.

1. Open Billing and review the feature matrix.
2. Upgrade or change plan on a plan card.
3. Complete checkout on PayPal when offered.
4. Cancel anytime from Billing when a subscription is active.

PayPal processes the subscription securely. Plan fees cover the agency control panel - not placement fees between you and your clients.

8. Settings

• Agency profile - name, website, contact, about.
• Careers card label - text on each vacancy chip on the public Careers door (your brand only - fully customisable).
• URL attribution - optional referrer ID on apply links so your systems can credit Careers traffic.
• Share the public Careers link from Settings or the footer.

9. Messages & support

Use Messages (or the envelope / headset icons) for platform chat and Help & Support.

Keep candidate personal data in your own systems - not in Ask OJ.

10. Appearance

Use the palette control for themes. Purple is the default for the agency workspace and stays until you change it.

11. Suggested weekly rhythm

1. Start of week: Sync stock · hide weak categories.
2. Mid-week: Check Analytics CTR and top vacancies.
3. Always: Keep referrer ID set if you track sources in your ATS.
4. Share: Careers link in your own channels.
